McLeods Lawyers has been part of the community since Kerikeri was a small village based around the emerging horticultural industry. We are a locally owned and established firm that has always worked hard to support the community.

Sarah Jury

Sarah Jury uses simple, practical and innovative solutions to obtain the best outcome for her clients while remaining calm, approachable and friendly. Sarah started out in law working for her father at 16 years of age and has been with McLeods since 2004. She has extensive experience, particularly in dealing with relationship property, estates, trusts, wills and conveyancing.

Sarah has a problem with reading too many books- at one stage she was up to 300 per year. Sarah spends a lot of her free time trying to lure her teenage daughter out of her bedroom with snacks and is followed around everywhere by her maltese poodle Louis.

Kristy Blair

Kristy is our most recent addition to McLeods Lawyers. She comes from a management and product-buying background in the foodstuffs industry. Kristy has a very practical attitude toward work and has over 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles. Kristy has an adventurous spirit and can be found most weekends exploring the Bay of Islands or making a Pinterest-inspired project come to life.

Kristy comes from management and product-buying background in the foodstuffs industry. Kristy brings a practical and big picture thinking viewpoint to her work. She uses these attributes to maintain the smooth running of the business and integrate well-structured practices. Kristy has an adventurous spirt and can be found outside of work cooking mountains of food to feed her partners growing teenage boys, exploring the Bay of Islands, or making a Pinterest inspired project come to life.

Daniel Begman

Legal Assistant

Daniel comes from a banking background and now uses his knowledge learnt in the banking industry to assist our clients through the process of buying and selling properties. He brings an upbeat energy to the office and uses his processed driven work ethic to ensure a smooth process for our clients from start to finish. Daniel is an unwavering basketball fan and can be found in his spare time renovating his home or conquering a new level on the most recent video game he is playing with his now grown children.

Kelly Hopkins

Legal Assistant

Kelly has joined the McLeod’s team after beginning her studies to become a legal executive. She brings her love of books, of being busy and her warm welcome to work every day. Kelly is eager to learn the world of law and is beginning with assisting on the Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney matters. Outside of Work Kelly is a caring mum of her two children and can be found helping her daughter with her latest arts and crafts project, cheering her son on at the football field or nose deep in a good book.
